Privacy Policy – HWWzorg Ticket AI Helper

Introduction

This extension (“HWWzorg Ticket AI Helper”) is a productivity tool for HWWzorg staff to generate faster and more consistent replies within TOPdesk. This extension is unofficial and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by TOPdesk.

What data is processed?

  • Ticket content: text visible in the currently open TOPdesk ticket (description and handling fields).
  • User input: any text manually entered into the extension by the user.

How is this data used?

  • The text is temporarily sent to an AI service (Google Gemini API) in order to generate a suggested response or instruction.
  • The generated text is then returned and inserted into the TOPdesk handling field.

Is data stored?

  • The extension does not permanently store ticket content or personal data.
  • All processing happens locally in the user’s browser and through the API call to Google Gemini.
  • The extension uses chrome.storage.local only to save configuration, such as toolbar position or the user’s API key.

Who is data shared with?

  • Only with the Google Gemini API, exclusively for generating the requested text.
  • No data is sold, shared, or provided to any third parties.

Security

The extension uses only secure HTTPS connections (https://) for communication with TOPdesk and the Gemini API.

Your rights

Since the extension does not store data outside your own browser, you have full control by disabling or uninstalling the extension. This immediately stops all processing.
